This policy governs the deletion of data processed in relation to the TeamPuli Services. This policy does not apply to the deletion of data that is collected (i) on the TeamPuli website, or (ii) by third parties in relation to third party products or services.

Capitalized terms used but not defined in this policy will have the same meaning as defined in the Terms of Service.

1.    Termination of End-User Accounts

End-User Account deletion can be initiated via the End-User Accounts. Upon the confirmation of the deletion request, an irreversible automatic process begins. Any data stored within the relevant End-User Account will be permanently deleted within 30 days from the initiation of the deletion process. However, if the relevant End-User participates in an ongoing Challenge, certain data (such as the avatar, username, chat conversations and number of steps taken during the Challenge) will only be deleted once the term of the relevant Challenge has expired, in accordance with the provisions of section 3 (Automatic deletion) below. This is to ensure that the results of the Challenge can be evaluated fairly.

The Customer may request the termination of all related End-User Accounts in the case of the termination of the TeamPuli Terms of Service.

2.    Termination of Service Accounts

The Primary Administrator can initiate the deletion of the Service Account via the Service Account. If there is an ongoing Challenge, the Primary Administrator must invite a Co-Administrator or the Challenge must expire prior to the initiation of the deletion process. The deletion process will begin on the following day and upon the confirmation of the deletion request.  The deletion process is irreversible, and, with the exceptions specified in section 4 below, any data stored in the Service Account will be permanently deleted within 30 days from the initiation of the deletion process. Co-Administrators may initiate the deletion of their own accounts via their accounts in accordance with the above.

3.    Automatic deletion

Conversations shared via the Chat function will be available for those End-Users who participate in the Challenge and during the term of the relevant Challenge. After the expiry of the relevant Challenge, any content shared via the Chat function will automatically be deleted.

Upon the expiry of the relevant Challenge, the individual step data of each participating End-User will be deleted. After the expiry of the Challenge, step data will be available only in an aggregated format. Administrators will have access to aggregated reports in respect of the relevant Challenge, while End-Users will have access to their own step data aggregated through different Challenges.

If a particular Service Account has been inactive for at least 2 years (i.e. 730 days) and within such time period, and within such time period, the Customer does not initiate a Challenge, the Service Account and the relating End-User Accounts, following an in-advance notice to the Customer, will automatically be deleted.

4.    Exceptions

This policy applies only in relation to the data specified above. This policy does not apply in respect of the data processed by FitPuli in connection with the Service relating to customer relationship, customer service, contracting,billing and product development. In relation to such data, the following retention periods apply:

As set out in details in the Privacy Notice, FitPuli may retain further data, in particular aggregated usage statistics. The retention of such data is not subject to this policy.

Further, FitPuli retains the right to retain data for a period longer than indicated in this policy if a Service Account or an End-User Account is terminated due to the infringement of the Terms of Service.
